It was your Florida Panthers with a resounding 6-1 win last night in Sunrise over the Tampa Bay Lightning to, believe it or not, defeat the Bolts in a playoff series (4 games to 1) for the FIRST TIME EVER!

The Cats will get a little rest while waiting to see who emerges from the Boston Bruins-Toronto Maple Leafs series. All eyes will surely be on TVs tonight with Boston leading 3 games to 1 and looking to end the Leafs season with a win.

That would set-up a re-match of 2023′s first round series, Florida with the home ice advantage, this time around. Puck drops at TD Garden at 7 pm, with the game airing on ESPN.

Meanwhile, down the road in downtown Miami, it was ANOTHER Boston team, the Celtics, with a 102-88 win over your Miami Heat at Kaseya Center.

The Heat now down 3 games to 1 in that series, have a MUST WIN game tomorrow night at the same TD Garden in Boston. Game 5 tip-off is 7:30 pm on TNT.

Meanwhile, almost as much attention was on the seats as the court, with some high profile support in the building. Lionel Messi and some of his Inter Miami CF teammates were on hand to root on the Heat.

Inter Miami CF’s next home game is this Saturday, May 4th at Chase Stadium versus Red Bull New York. Match time set for 7:30 pm.
