Blessing will be a Blessing to a lucky Forever Home!

Ellen and Blessing
Ellen and Blessing

Two year old Blessing (ID A579305) was adopted as a little pup and now that her family is moving, they can’t take her along. This fun-loving gal is super sweet and loves to give kisses. She knows basic commands, is potty-trained, is good with kids, but is selective about her dog friends. Blessing’s favorite toys are Kongs stuffed with treats. Can this spotted beauty be part of your family? Her adoption fee is just $100…where can you spend so little and get a devoted friend for life?

When you adopt from the Humane Society of Broward County all pets are spayed or neutered before going home. In addition they receive preliminary vaccinations, microchip, heart worm test for dogs over seven months, feline leukemia test for cats, a limited 10 day health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospital, a bag of Purina ONE food, 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance and more. For more information call the shelter today at 954-989-3977 ext 6. The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95 and opens daily at 10:30 a.m. To see who else is looking for a home visit www.humanebroward.com

URGENT NEED:

Due to the large amount of kittens, cats, and other pocket pets in our shelter, we have been going through newspapers at an alarming rate... and now WE ARE OUT! đŸ˜±

If you have any newspapers in your house (or on their way to your recycling bin), can you PLEASE donate them to our shelter instead? Even one issue can help a handful of pets.

We use newspapers to line the cages of the shelter's cats, kittens, bunnies, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more. Because they're absorbent and disposable, they help keep the cages sanitary and provide a little bit of warmth.

The Humane Society of Broward County relies on volunteers to help with many of the programs and services at the shelter. Whether it is being a foster parent, doing an educational presentation, walking dogs or helping with pet adoptions, there are many opportunities available if you have some time to devote.
