Man fires shots into Pizza Hut over argument about food order, police say

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A Tennessee man fired gunshots into a Pizza Hut restaurant after getting into an argument about an order of food, police said.

Scottie Dean Ramsey, 42, argued with the manager around 10:30 p.m. about his order, Asheville police said. Ramsey then left the restaurant and fired gunshots into the glass doors, WSPA reported.

Ramsey was found a short distance away. He was arrested and charged with firing a weapon into an occupied building, assault by pointing a gun and injury to real property, according to arrest records. He was in jail on $50,000 bond.
