Sharon Osbourne reveals granddaughter tested positive for coronavirus

“The Talk” co-host Sharon Osbourne said Monday that her 3-year-old granddaughter has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Osbourne, 67, appeared remotely for the premiere of the show’s 11th season, as did rapper Eve, Today reported. The show’s other co-hosts, Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba, were live in the studio.,

“I was meant to be in the studio, I was so looking forward to it,” Sharon, 67, told her fellow co-hosts. “And then, unfortunately, one of my granddaughters (Minnie) has come down with COVID.”

Minnie Osbourne is the youngest child of “Dancing With the Stars” alumnus Jack Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne’s 34-year-old son with her husband, singer Ozzy Osbourne. Jack Osbourne has two other daughters, Pearl, 8, and Andy, 5, with ex-wife Lisa Stelly, Today reported. Jack Osbourne and Stelly were divorced in March 2019 after six years of marriage, US Magazine reported. The couple agreed to joint custody of their daughters.

“(Minnie is) OK, she’s doing good,” Osbourne said during “The Talk.” “I don’t have it. Her daddy doesn’t have it. Her mommy doesn’t have it. Her sisters don’t.”

Sharon Osbourne said her granddaughter caught COVID-19 “from someone who works for my son,” People reported.

“It just goes to show you -- she’s 3 years of age -- that children can get COVID,” she said.
