Throwback: Fans celebrate the 1996 Florida Panthers at Miami Arena #tbt

28 years later fans are hoping to finally get that Stanley Cup parade

It was a June evening, not unlike today... Hot and muggy, but the old Miami Arena was FULL of energy and over 15,000 RABID Florida Panthers fans, gathering to thank the team for a true Cinderella season. Do you remember it? Were you there?

A franchise birthed just 3 years earlier, the Cats took their talents all the way to the Stanley Cup Final, before succumbing to the Colorado Avalanche in 4 games.

Just ONE win away from hoisting their first ever Stanley Cup🤞, let’s take a look back at that magical night. By the way, there are STILL several lower bowl tickets ($40 a piece including parking) for the Game 6 watch party tomorrow night at Amerant Bank Arena. Secure yours HERE!

But onto that #tbt video (courtesy of NBC 6)... ⬇️

I love music. It’s really what got me into radio to begin with. You should see my record collection: from Michael Jackson and Elton John, to Led Zeppelin and The Stones, to old school hip-hop and dance music ... (Well you get the idea!)
